Bogor Regent Leads Commemorative Plenary Session Marking Bogor’s 543rd Anniversary

“Bogor is not built by a single hand, but by thousands of hearts that love it. Every achievement belongs not to individuals but to the nation. This is the spirit of nationalism we must uphold,” he asserted.

In addition to highlighting progress, Rudy took a moment to humbly apologize to the public for any shortcomings during his leadership. He reiterated that development is a relay process—each leader continues the work of predecessors for future generations.

“We are merely continuing the legacy of those who came before us. All progress seen today is the result of years of dedication by many figures and the people of Bogor. Our duty is to carry it forward with even stronger determination,” he added.

The Regent also reaffirmed the importance of rooting Bogor’s growth in historical and cultural values, in line with the spirit of “Kuta Udaya Wangsa”—positioning Bogor not only as a hub of economic and infrastructural development but also as a center of cultural revival, character building, and national unity.

“Bogor must be shaped by those who love it with all their heart and soul. Programs alone are not enough—it takes values, vision, and the courage to protect the identity and dignity of the region,” Rudy concluded with passion.
