FIRSTJURNAL — In a solemn and symbolic gesture, Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto, accompanied by Deputy Regent Ade Ruhandi, led a Special Plenary Session alongside the Chairman of the Bogor Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) to commemorate Bogor’s 543rd anniversary. The session took place in the Plenary Hall of the DPRD Bogor on Tuesday (3/6).
Rudy emphasized that the commemoration is not merely ceremonial, but a sacred moment to reaffirm the region’s national identity and collective commitment to building Bogor as an integral part of the Indonesian nation.
“Bogor Regency is a vital pulse within the heartbeat of Indonesia. Here, the legacy of struggle is rooted, cultural values flourish, and resilient generations continue to shape the nation,” stated Rudy before the assembly.
Carrying the theme “Sacangreud Pageuh, Sagolék Pangkék”, the 543rd anniversary celebration reflects resilience and unwavering consistency in safeguarding the fruits of past efforts. According to the Regent, the deeply philosophical theme represents local-nationalist spirit: once entrusted with a mandate, it must not be released; once achievements are gained, they must be protected collectively.
Rudy called for inclusive collaboration across government bodies, military and police forces, academia, private sector, media, and civil society to ensure Bogor’s development stays on track with diversity and progress.
