Black Sticky Rice Cake Recipe, Soft in the mouth
Ingredients:
Before starting to make black sticky rice cake, prepare the following ingredients:
The main ingredient:
200 grams of black sticky rice flour
4 chicken eggs
150 grams of granulated sugar
200 ml thick coconut milk
100 ml vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp SP (cake softener, optional)
Additional Ingredients (Optional):
Grated cheese for topping
Sesame or almonds for sprinkling
Powdered sugar for decoration
How to Make Black Sticky Rice Cake Recipe
1. Prepare materials and tools
Preheat the oven at 170°C for 10-15 minutes so that it heats evenly.
Prepare a baking sheet, grease it with a little oil or margarine, then sprinkle with a little flour so that the sponge cake doesn’t stick.
2. Beat eggs and sugar
In a container, beat the eggs, sugar and SP using a mixer at high speed until fluffy and pale in color (approximately 5-7 minutes).
3. Mix the Dry Ingredients
Sift the black sticky rice flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla powder so that there are no lumps.
Add the flour mixture little by little into the egg mixture while stirring gently using a spatula.
4. Add coconut milk and oil
Pour the coconut milk and vegetable oil into the mixture gradually, then stir again with a spatula until all the ingredients are evenly mixed. Make sure no oil settles under the dough.
5. Bake Sponge
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, level the surface.
Bake in the oven at 170°C for 40-50 minutes or until cooked (test with a skewer, if no dough sticks it means the cake is cooked).
6. Serve Black Sticky Rice Bolu
Once cooked, remove the sponge cake from the oven and let it cool for a moment before removing it from the tin.
Add toppings according to taste such as grated cheese, sesame sprinkles, or powdered sugar for a more attractive appearance.
